A Global Prayer Rising

I will be transparent with you: I have ulterior motives.

I dream of a wave of praise, of readers joining together in giving glory to the Father.

I dream of a unified voice of worship that transcends borders,

that rises above denominations and the petty words that divide.

That as one, we might join together and glorify the Father.

No more time set aside,

No more waiting,

No more later,

let it be now.

Join with me, my friends,

knowing fully that what is about to drop

is Global Prayer as Digital Praise,

from dust given and with friends raised:

“Holy Father, worthy and True,

We come as one before You,

not with requests,

nor promises, but with intent.

We offer what we have:

our hearts,

our praises, small though they are.

We thank You for another day,

another lesson learned as we walk,

another opportunity to choose love over lust,

another chance to give to others as You have given to us,

another answered prayer realized.

And most of all, we thank You for You.

We were them before You,

and now that we have tasted of You,

we can never be the us-before again.

We come before You as if we have never sinned.

As one, unified, we offer tonight

our adoration, our intent, our choice for You.

We come soiled, sorrowful, and shamed,

yet we thank You for not casting us away.

Instead You have held us, cleaned us, healed our wounds.

We bring our worry — You bring the comfort.

We bring our sin — You bring the Cross.

And so we ask:

that Your Name be glorified globally,

through gathered saints who praise.

That You would kindle the Blaze.”
