A Voice & a Psalm

A Voice & a Psalm

There is much to say, yet so little time to give for pontification.

Writers write, singers sing, and dancers dance

The matter summed up by its participants

Yet what if I told you, our muse of creation flows from the same source

We convey a concept with a word

Reveal unseen glory with a brush

Share graceful elegance of form in lithe motion

The creators creating an ineffable image

The unseen becoming seen

The purpose finding poise

Youth burns brightly

And anger’s rage Hot

Quickly wicked and lit, burned to explosive light

Youth giving way to knowledge,

Knowledge to temperance

Impetuousness to consideration

We learn , wisdom becoming our mantle

It is our voice that’s needed now

Our cries to a generation yet to come

Leave the trails

The footprints in the sand

That others might see

And so these are my crumbs

My verse the song

For the young and old

We are one
