“Held Between Words”

A Psalm of the Bride

What was has come again,

In the held breath ‘tween words.

Within, the Presence inhabits —

Abiding,

Presiding,

In the lull between

Thought and action.

What once was walks

Barefoot in temples,

Inner sanctuary,

The soul’s home.

Unity,

Joined —

As a three-braided cord cannot be easily broken,

Dormant lain…

Awoken through sparked Spirit —

Holy, Holy, Holy.

Sanctification.

Sprinkled Lamb’s blood

Upon mantles of flesh.

Chosen before

Time applied to confess.

The wind blows once more…

Hitherto, here and there,

It whispers of revival,

Of flames so pure, burn they clear:

Of houses divided,

Of Sealed silence revoked,

Of Ancient of Days’ children — bespoke.

Chosen for such as this —

For future glories revealed.

For suffering and sacrifice,

For joy and tears.

For the end of an age to defy

The lie that Christ’s form hides —

For He is here, behind our eyes…

In our hands,

In our love,

In our faith,

In our hope,

In our life as witness,

In our silence,

And in our humility.

Christ, risen, within rises —

Given form in flesh of varied sizes,

The Life living again as an echo.

Children embodying the Perfection,

Striving ahead…

Where angels dare to tread —

As lambs to the slaughter,

Becoming martyrs sacred-dead.

All for the hope.

All for the Beloved.

All for the life as worship.

All for the unity.

All for the Unseen Eternal Father.

All for the Lamb who was slain and yet lives.

All for the faith held fast in hope’s hands

If this piece spoke to you, stirred something sacred, or reminded you of something forgotten… I invite you to sit with it longer.

My entire body of poetic, prophetic work is a testimony of suffering transformed and worship rising.
