I Am a Woman
Femininity in fearlesssness
I Am Woman
I am Woman
I define myself, no other
I perceive that which I personify
Curvaceous, thin, brown, white, yellow, big, small, trans, gay, straight
I embody my own femininity therefore, my form is the measure used to define mirror’s reflection
I am Woman
Muscled, slumped, aged, young, infirm,
I am enough in myself
My gender is not for others to decide by appearance
I am Woman
I embody strength with fullness of heart
Tender mercy, nurturing touches, tearful rearing
Hidden sorrows as dreams lost
I am Woman
I define that which I allow
I allow that which I embrace
Pain will not break that which was forged of fire
