Melody coupled with crafted memory

A frozen moment forged in forgetfulness

Melody coupled with crafted memory

A frozen moment forged in forgetfulness

What we were, who we became

Age like a fine wine, preserved in presence

Cased and kept in observed obsolescence

Eulogies given in pregnant stillness

Souls gathered round, dearly departed

Pleasant platitudes proscribing lost posterities

Uncherished, un-beheld, passing like clouds by the sun

Hold now my soul and observe

Time’s passage, yellowed with age, pages turned

Lost once more becoming found and found shown for all

Mystery given form and a Name

To such is this calling uttered

Know me and know life, she cries

Yet still her providence is proven by the lack of answer

Whom shall ascend?

To whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

They have heard and yet not understood!

They have seen and yet not perceived!

They have slaughtered the shepherd and scattered the flock

They have wasted the waning light in sullen darkness!

Hearken! Hear and believe, the wonder that is to be revealed!

Neither shall you believe that which is about to be!

It is drawing near; it has come upon us and is among us!

Yeah, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I shall fear no evil

For thou art with me

Look and see! He comes with His Thousands!

The glorious ones!

He is coming!

I hear His voice!
