Nostalgia a poem by Eiri
Nostalgia, that textured nuance of memories made tangible from thought
Nostalgia
Nostalgia, that textured nuance of memories made tangible from thought
Like beige corduroy in warm dimmed sunset, particulate and ambered dust
Such moments repose as we dip back through the gauze like layer of time
We become one and the same, then and now, existing in duality, two selves merged
A word, or perhaps a phrase, a scent, like velvet brushing past fingertips dipped in diamond, musky yet familiar
In an instant, we become one and the same, crystalized moments, held in our shared tapestry
Resolved into the manifestation of singularity becoming multiplicity, the one the many
Perhaps God, our Father sees through lens similar to ours , all is as crystalized, singular totality,
Perfectly existing sufficiency in multiplicity, the many contained and combined to the whole
We are the children of his radiance, a fragment of His totality
As He cannot be taken away from we too shall never perish
In these moments of soul, stained with the color of passed history
we are revealed to our summation, the definition showing our perdition
Shall we be clear crystal, radiating light, accelerating the whole, revealing the revealer?
And prepare the way?
Let reign the Eternal One
The perfect crystallization of the whole, combined, presided over, existing in perpetuity
So we are, as we were, as we will be again, till time loses flavor and meaning
Ripples on serenity’s shore, tendrils reaching , a web of interconnected perceptive reality
And so we are, a type of the first, a fragment of the potters shard, the hands that formed the being
So let the creator, create, and wordsmith muse, so that our narration might have markers along the path of Nostalgia
