Prayer’s Heart
Silent solitude
Silent solitude, seeking soul, gnarled hands clasped
Communion, conversation, dialogue, praying head bowed
Mystery, mission, mastery, eyes closed in reverence
Commiseration, shared suffering, an empath’s mournful cry, uttered supplications uplifted
Grieving, tears expelled, approaching radiance, “heal them Father” she whispers
Starvation, crumbled walls, Gaza’s widows, her eyes pouring fresh floods for the lost
The children without voice, the malnourished searching for succor amid collapsed tenements, “guard them” she beseeches in shared lament
Saviors denied, the given taken by oppressors, the abused becoming the abuser, she prays for the least of these
Ukraine’s busted down cavities, razed by Russian aggression, families lost “give them rest” she intercedes.
Presidents war with word, men and women with battled rifles, fatigued, “lend them peace”
Security a lie, falsehoods and fake faces, smiling whilst plotting “show them what has already been given”
Round and round, twirling past politics, European Union supporting and purporting “unify them” beseeching
From Yemen to Syria, Iran to China, false facades faking sincerity whilst plotting, “woe to the world in silence” the mother mumbles
Defiance in defense, Trump in opposition, soldiers as slaves, martyrs marking mystery “give them rest from their labors”
Prophet's prophesying. the coming ages end, master approaching, Yeshua’s recompense, she worships the Father
Bowing down tired knees she prays for the world,
Burdens so severe as to have soul seared
The moonlit mother supplicates, humbly, interceding
Hidden, seen and unseen at once, heard, incense gathered, she mingles her prayers
