The Dreamer who dreams of us
Witnessing the Coming from Within the Waiting
Mercy flowed, as foundations found meaning in the river’s rush.
The Dreamer, the glimmer in the Eye of the Dream,
A held hand softly cupped beneath tears transitioning.
The Father so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son —
To hold,
To behold,
To witness from darkness as light,
To shatter the chains bound in antiquity’s blight.
To raise the shattered banner tall,
To proclaim and herald the coming of the All,
The Master Sovereign Architect’s foreknown call,
To gather from nations spirits bound in unity, to forestall
The declinations of spirituality amidst.
Twenty twenty-five: the year of us, as we arise.
Fear, having no home, moves on to other cries —
While we who are named sing songs, eyes lifted to eternity’s skies.
Not long now must we who await still hold,
Our tongues, our radiant reflected light, to behold
The truth of life, the manifested echo of Christ foretold —
And wait in prayer, in silence still, our choice to You long since sold.
So now I lay me down, in arms ever wide,
To dream of the Fullness that resides and abides
Within and without, internal — sin forever decried,
As we wait for the Dreamer who dreams of us, the dreaming, in tomorrow’s skies
