So these are questions and thoughts that came to me while in the shower. I rushed to my phone to write them out in a text to my dear friend. This is what came to me.

Consider it a slice of life.

If Christ incarnate was One in perfect unity with the Father when He walked among us,

then the Father was re-incarnated in Him — perfect unity, timeless, pre-existent,

the All in All. And now He dwells in us.

His prayer remains:

that we would be one, even as He and the Father are One —

unified in totality, through eternity’s lens, in perpetuity.

Seen from this lens, our lives are living reflections of Him:

learning Him, experiencing Him, knowing Him by way of our own becoming.

In this strange mirror, He draws us nearer both to ourselves and to Himself.

And so, when we rejoin,

we do not simply return as fragments mended,

but as something greater than the sum of our parts.

We become whole in Him.

These are questions, an inspired moment, conclusions are in the asking not answering.
