The Radiance
God in a poets eyes
How can one outline the form of the formless?
Or describe the radiance of the sun?
How can we equate glory?
I shall endeavor to utter wonder and give rise to awe.
These are my attempts to give tribute to the Father.
White radiance; devoid shade.
Searing brightness.
vision stained with emanations
The totality revealed to children.
Aged before antiquity
The Ancient of Days
The form before thought
The purpose prior to creation
Over the waters He hovered
His Spirit;
The magnitude of internal worth manifested as glory.
So much so, that we cannot see it
Lest we perish
The love undying, without condition
The origination of Christ the manifestation
Hidden behind layers of tangible matter.
The physical,
Unseen.
His hand, on all that exists.
All that will ever be.
His authority absolute.
Yet regard given to the least of these
Compassion and mercy His crown.
In His unchanging demeanor
We are seen.
We are intimately known.
All we are, since before birth
Is held in His hand,
He gives eternity.
That we might know Him more
The radiance given form in Yeshua
That we might perceive the surpassing worth
The Father,
Arms ever open wide
A waiting embrace
A tender encouragement
A teachable moment
The revelation of the revealer.
Sights seen without eyes
Thunder uttered without voice
Whispers perceived without ears
The fullness resides within
He is revealed
To the one who has, even more will be given
To the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away
If this touched your heart, feel free to support me —
every word is a prayer, and every gift a whisper of grace.
