The Storied Peaks
Glory in Sanctification

I usually like to give a blurb before my work, but this one is just a wow moment for me. I loved transcribing it that much.Enjoy!
The sun sets once more…
The land huddles in shadow,
Rocks curling toes into earth,
Holding fast to granite,
Clinging,
To Yeshua’s mountain bedrock,
Foundation formed by the Father.
Aged stone, delicate in crumble,
These storied peaks vie for supremacy —
To be erosion’s first intimate lover,
Ground fully down to gravel,
Grit and sand carried away,
On water’s fluid tide,
On winds that whip.
Rounded with slopes of air,
Sanded to bone, flesh as rock,
Sanctification in elemental erosion —
A willing loss of form
Through the Father’s shaping hand.
Mountains become valleys,
And people perish, ash to dust.
As perfection comes,
Featured form loses cohesion;
Glory remolds the clay.
Where nothingness becomes everything,
And everything is nothingness —
Save Him, the Gloried One,
The Father.
Return we now,
As hushed murmurs fade to silence,
Whispers stilled in awe before
The Majesty, the Storied Glory,
The Son, the Holy Spirit.
Ash spent,
Dust…
As are we all.
From Dust.
