Transcendent Transition

The Space Tween’ The Two

The Space Tween’ The Two

The Space Tween’ The Two

Neither white nor black, instead an unidentifiable shade of gray

Such areas are where we exist, living and not, singularly yet separately

The world spinning ever so subtly, the pace dizzying, too swift to follow

Time marches on, youth and yearning giving birth to age and learning

Walking we move from one shadow to another, always longing, always seeking

That sweet caress of the sun’s rays and belonging, to find our home our place

We are not classified by categorical genres, such is the beauty and anguish of our existence

We were not given the luxury of choice, rather a burden to carry, one that eases not with time

What once we were is given to the furious flames of who we know ourselves to be

Change, impossible to avoid like the loss we will endure to merely draw breath

Beyond numbering are the instances where judgment will be bent and drawn as a weapon

Ours is not the way of sleeping dreamers, no we must struggle from birth to death
