What My Meditations Really Are
Disclaimer of Dust

I thought it pertinent, my friends and family, to clarify a few things about my meditations, confessions, and what some might call my teachings.
First off, I believe in discipleship — digitally and physically. What I am doing here on Medium is simply sharing what I have learned so far, along with the ongoing lessons He continues to teach me in real time. I am not a teacher. I am a fellow participant. By choice, I am a scribe, offering you a real look at a beautifully broken faith still called beloved.
These thoughts are stirred in me through prayer, meditation (see my piece “Starting the Day With Him” for a fuller glimpse of my rhythm), and the actual living of life. I am transcribing a journey lived moment by moment before the Father — fumbling often, failing sometimes, yet always returning. I will always try to bring my true self to you, just as I do before Him, so that my prayers may not be hindered. I promise you this: I will flop, fail, mess up, and I will share my big, beautiful mistakes as best as I can within the limits of time and strength.
I believe more people need to do the same with one another. We are called to go out and make disciples of all nations — and yes, that call most certainly includes women, as I am most definitely one. My encouragement to you, my friends: live ugly, messy, beautiful lives before the Father. Live them openly before others. Always aim for His Highest.
Well, that’s enough of my prattling.
As always,
Dust
To you,
For you,
From Him,
In me.
