Why Create?

I get jealous at times of others. I see a written piece that inspires me so much and I find myself a bit irritated, just a little mind you, that those words didn’t come to me first. It’s at times like these, I remind myself. It’s beautiful because of who wrote it, and the unique circumstances that brought it into existence. The who, the when, and the why are all essential components in the individual backstory of our personal creations.
Transience is beautiful because it’s fleeting. An image captured with word or photography bears beauty because of the eye that saw it first and recorded it’s existence. Discovery allows first insight’s witness and credence is given to perspective’s voice.
Simple is powerful. Saying more with less is impactful. Visionaries will always be needed to catalogue the human experience. The song unsung will continually languish without it’s own melody.
Authenticity is paramount. Be who you are, think the thoughts you think, record while withholding self recriminations. You have a perspective uniquely yours, own it, live in it, flesh it out, and invite us to view it with your words.
