Wildflowers amongst Weeds
Our inner Garden
Wildflowers in the Weeds
We are wildflowers blooming in starbursts Eclectic vibrancy amongst disparate genus
Weeds rising in fields of delicate, deific design
Not planted by human hand,
Nor tended by mankind’s hubris
Existent to eyes in beautiful bouquets
Gathered up, wrapped, lady slipper’s sandals,
Baby’s breath, cerulean delphinium,
Poppies, peonies, pansies, daisies,and daffodil
Wandered wonders stumbled upon in isolation
Panoplies of perfection amongst wild emerald growth
An orchestra of hues conducted by none
In our secret garden of the heart,
Rooted, seeded, soiled,and maintained
By the Father’s loving hand
Perfect in imperfection, beauty in bounty
Jewels dazzle as petaled translucence
Given God as gardener
We are all Wildflowers of the soul
Grown without sowing
Colorful without paint
Purposeful in intention
Reaching, striving towards our source
And, lying down peacefully when our youth is spent, fertilizing the ground for weeds and wildflowers both
